Who we are
This website is operated by Mawk Labs, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42196096. Mawk Labs is the controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at mateialexandruang@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, organisation (optional) and the message you send.
- Email: whatever you include when you write to us directly.
- Site analytics: aggregated, anonymous usage statistics (pages viewed, referrer, browser and country) through Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify individual visitors.
- Hosting logs: our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site.
Why we use it
We use contact details only to reply to your enquiry and to discuss possible work with you. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to messages (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics and hosting data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.
Who processes it for us
- Google (Google Forms) stores contact-form submissions.
- Vercel hosts the website and provides the anonymous analytics.
These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and any engagement that follows, and delete them no later than 24 months after our last contact, unless we are legally required to keep them longer (for example, Dutch tax rules require business records to be kept for seven years).
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or to restrict or object to how we use it. Email mateialexandruang@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or the supervisory authority where you live.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
